To help get your clients set up with the MYOB desktop connector, we’ve built an exciting feature to streamline the connection process.
To get started, go to the “Connect Company” tab and select “Invite Client” under MYOB Desktop. You will then be prompted to enter your client’s name and email address, and then click “Send Invitation”. This will trigger an email to your client, explaining to them the purpose of the desktop connector and its function. It will ask them to download the desktop connector and connect their MYOB company file.
Once your client has connected their file, it will appear in your connected companies dashboard and your client does not need to do anything further. You can also retrieve the file in-app by clicking on the company from your dashboard and clicking the download link.
The data will sync from your client’s file once per day.
