Your Common Ledger MYOB desktop connector is a single user application and will not accept MYOB files from more than one user at any given time. If installed on your server, you may be prompted with the below error:
Common Ledger is used by XXX, and currently does not support multi-user installations. Please log in as the user XXX to continue. For more information please contact Support.
This occurs when a second user attempts to connect MYOB file(s) to the desktop connector and is not logged into the server as the occupying user.
To solve this issue, you can follow one of the two steps below:
- Ask the occupying user to remove their files; When a user has disconnected all files they have added to your desktop connector, it will free the connector be occupied by another user
- Have the current occupying user connect the file on your behalf
