When connecting files from MYOB AccountRight versions 2014-2016 to Common Ledger's MYOB desktop connector, you may be prompted with the below error:
The company file cannot be accessed. Please ensure the file is in the Library of MYOB AccountRight. For more information, please contact Support.
This indicates that the company file has not been added to your MYOB AccountRight library. To resolve this error, open the company file in the corresponding version of MYOB in the same location as the desktop connector. Once you have opened the company file in MYOB, it is automatically added to your library. You can now connect your MYOB file.
It is important that the Common Ledger desktop connector is installed in the same location as MYOB, whether that's a server or a PC.
