This error occurs when you try and launch the MYOB desktop connector, but it is already running in your system tray.

To resolve this issue, simply open your system tray and launch the desktop connector from there. If you are having trouble opening the desktop connector from the tray, then close the desktop connector via Task Manager, and open it from the desktop icon or your program list.
