When you make a connection to the accounting software, Common Ledger pulls the transactional data from the General Ledger. These appear in the form of journals which is then transferred to your General Ledger system.

The actual data that you will see is:

  1. Account number

  2. Account name

  3. Account type

  4. Transaction amount

  5. Transaction description

  6. Transaction date

We do not currently bring through any sub-ledger data such as the debtors and creditors ledger.

All of the data is used for producing periodic financial statements - Annual, quarterly as well as for any performance reporting.

If you use Xero as a ledger, you can use our data to import directly from Xero into Performance Reporting software such as Futrli
